A firebug shut a public toilet cubicle for more than ten weeks – after setting light to a loo roll.
The entire block was closed for eight weeks and the damaged cubicle is still awaiting a new side panel.
Erewash Borough Council officials apologised for the problem at the block on Orchard Street, Long Eaton, after the matter was raised at a community forum in the town.
